Progress update

Look whats been going on ( or UP) around here!

 the bonus room is going to to be WONDERFUL!

 what a cutie but way too much fun sitting and watching in the hot sun.. Must have got some heat stoke spent that night puking. poor kid!

Framing begins! HURRAY!

So we have had some excitement around here. The house is really taking shape now!

First the sub floor went on:

This is what we like to call the HOLE OF DEATH!  Yeah its a pretty large basement down there so thats an almost 9ft droP!

(The stairway hole and not in the right spot I must add. They had to fix it the very next day.. OOPS! Thats one reason I am so very grateful we went with a general contractor. We have nothing to worry about!

There is the wall being build. i had no idea they build them on the ground then hoist them up! so neat to watch! fun week for progress!

THE MAN OF THE HOUR! Rusty on the phone. We've been really pleased with his work! yep he's on the phone! he has made ALL the arrangements and scheduled things really good.. we are on schedule and he gets the job done OR gets on his phone until it gets done! =)

life just got a little safer.....

Today the back filled the dirt all around the house. I am very grateful that my kids wont die in the big hole anymore.. its all gone.. say adios!

I love this picture! it 100% shows how entertained my kids have been! They have loved watching the backhoe and front loader work their magic! right from Tessa bedroom window!

but a little dusty around here today! They did have a water tank and a guy spraying.. but it only helped so much... i guess i didnt get a very good picture of him. but there he is standing in that blasted heat just hosing the dirt pile.
