So FIRST of many stumbling blocks.( I am sure) The property was sold without a plot plan lay out. I didn't even know what that was. But its like a map of your property with ALL the buildings in location to the street and property lines. (So many feet from so many feet ect.) Well, we don't have one. That takes time and a surveyor has to come and redo one if you don't have one on record. So Rusty (our contractor) told me they usually give you that plot plan at closing. (and we didn't) so I called the title company and found out they didn't require one. So there is most likely not one. I think we can draw one up ourselves we just have to know the dimension of the property. Like this example below:
