Just a quick update...
The Engineer took FOREVER (like 2 or 3 weeks) to get the wet stamp but good news.. Our foundation is all good. No sand has to be added and the shale they found was apparently the good type.. strong and shifts very little so structurally nothing has to be added or taken away. My contractor turned in the all the paper work and I wrote a check for 2,800 for permits! and now we wait. I am hoping to hear back from the building department in a couple weeks. then we can get this show on the road! hopefully cement in by the end of june.
